Computer Science with Healthcare Information Technology, B.S.

The B.S. in Computer Science with Healthcare Information Technology  is a full computer science degree, with additional coursework in healthcare technology practices and information processing.  There are opportunities for interested students to do computer science research with faculty, and internship opportunities in the region are abundant.

In order to remain in the program, students who have declared the major in Computer Science with Healthcare Information Technology must maintain satisfactory progress toward completion of the major by completing CS 129 Object-Oriented Programming with a grade of C- or higher by the end of the second year and completing CS 229 Advanced Programming by the end of the fall semester of the third year.

Students  may not earn both the major in Computer Science with Healthcare Information Technology and the major or minor in Computer Science .
